A committee of experts made up of members of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition, the Spanish Group for Green Growth, the Spanish Global Compact Network, Aclima, Forética and the Club of Excellence in Sustainability, has been in charge of assessing all the initiatives of environmental improvement presented by small, medium and large companies from the initiative created by the #PorElClima Community, among whose objectives is to bring together the pioneers, those who are already fighting against the climate crisis and reducing their emissions to achieve objective 1.5 and carbon neutrality by 2050. To this end, the aforementioned Committee of experts has selected the most solid business climate actions that can serve as an impetus to other entities, organizations, administrations and people to join the change, considering the initiative presented by EGA Master in relation to the innovative actions carried out to reduce packaging s and packaging placed on the market, as one of the most prominent business actions along with others from companies such as Coca Cola, Acciona, Endesa or FCC.

It should be noted in this regard that EGA Master has been the first and only company in the sector at the moment to have obtained the double seal ‘Calculo + Reduzco’ for registering its Carbon Footprint. These seals, granted by the Spanish Office for Climate Change of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, distinguish those organizations that not only calculate their greenhouse gas emissions, but also have a plan for their reduction and have made it effective.
