EGA Master has been a finalist, along with two other entities, for the Awards for Good Practices in Sustainable Industrialization, Clean Energies and Ecodesign, convened by the Provincial Council of Álava.

The good practice nominated as a finalist was the sustainable packaging model, which allowed EGA Master to reduce its carbon footprint and thus promote the circular economy, leading the way towards responsible practices for other companies in the hand tool manufacturing sector.

The finalist project of EGA Master will be presented at a conference to disseminate Good Practices in sustainable industrialization, clean energy and ecodesign, next Thursday, October 19 at the Palace House of the Provincial Council of Álava, in Vitoria (Spain).

These awards are the result of a proposal created by the Alava Alliance for Sustainable Development, which seeks to promote Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Build resilient infrastructures, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, foster innovation).

In this way, the Provincial Council of Álava ratifies its commitment to the environment and in recognition of the efforts of industries to be more sustainable.

The prize money will be 5,000 euros for the project selected as the winner.

A second and third prize will also be awarded with prizes of €3,000 and €2,000.
