The Department of Atomic Molecular and Nuclear Physics of the University of Granada has trusted the EGA Master brand for the manufacture of Premium Titanium tools, which they will use in their Ion Trap and Laser research project.
The Ion Traps and Lasers laboratory is the only laboratory of this nature in Spain. Given the characteristics of traps, such as the Penning Trap, where magnetic fields exist constantly, non-magnetic tools are required, such as those made of titanium alloy supplied by EGA Master.
Ion traps and the study of ions are not directly applicable to economics, but scientific research in this field can have indirect impacts that benefit society at large. For example, it could include advances in the manufacturing of electronic devices, more efficient batteries, or more effective methods of energy storage and transfer.
These innovations could improve productivity and efficiency in various industries, positively affecting society.
In this way, EGA Master does its part in scientific and technological advancement, as it has done, and continues to do, manufacturing and supplying Premium Titanium tools to the European research organization that operates the largest Physics laboratory in the world: CERN (European Council for Nuclear Research).
The University of Granada was founded in 1531, being the second-best university in Spain and one of the best in Europe, according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities, also known as the Shanghai Ranking.
