In a new milestone for our company, CODELCO, Chile's state-owned mining giant and world leader in copper production, has relied on EGA Master for the supply of 16 sets of 1000V insulated tools. This project is intended for the electrical area and the truck shop of the Chuquicamata mine, one of the largest and best known in the world.

The tools supplied are designed to comply with the IEC 60900 (ASTM-1505) standard and pass rigorous dielectric tests at 10,000V, 10 times the certified current. In addition, they are tested for adhesion, dielectric penetration, impact and flame propagation, all under strict European safety standards.
