EGA Master has managed to reduce, for the fourth consecutive year, its carbon footprint by 8.38% compared to the last three years (2020-2022), which has earned it recognition from the general director, Valvanera Ulargui Aparicio, of the Spanish Office for Climate Change belonging to the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition.
EGA Master's commitment to sustainability is intrinsic to its raison d'être, as evidenced by the various projects carried out to reduce its carbon footprint.
As an example, EGA Master implemented a circular economy system in its containers, reducing its use by one ton per year and transforming waste into resources. This extended the life cycle of packaging and helped reduce CO2 emissions in supply chains. Thanks to this initiative, in 2022 it was recognized among the 10 + 10 business examples by the #PorElClima Community in the SME category.
At the beginning of 2023, EGA Master installed a 95 kW photovoltaic plant and a 60 kW energy storage system, which avoids the emission of 30.4 tons of CO2 per year. The system allows excess energy to be stored during production peaks and used at more efficient times for your operations.
In short, these achievements that EGA Master has achieved to obtain these magnificent results bring it closer to its goal of being a pioneering company and a benchmark in the construction of a more sustainable and healthy production model for all.
